We have designed our website to give our customer’s the best possible online shopping experience. However, we recognize that from time to time our customer’s do have questions with regard to their order, how to contact us and so forth. We’ve also discovered that our customer’s typically ask similar questions. Our most frequently asked questions and their answers are listed below.

How do I place an order?

The Camping Team offers two convenient ways to order.


Order Online

The easiest way to order is online. All you have to do is shop any of our product pages, make your item and quantity selections and click on the (Add to Cart) button next to any of our products.

After you have made all of your product selections, simply click on the (CheckOut) button found on every product page.

The (CheckOut) button will take you to our payment page where you will enter your name, shipping and credit card information. Its as easy as that!


Order By Phone

To order by phone, simply may your product(s) selection and call our Sales Department at 760-837-7731.

A customer service representative will be pleased to take your order.

How do I know my order has been received?

You will receive an e-mail from usconfirming your order has been received and is being processed.

What shipping carrier do you use?


Most orders are shipped UPS Ground. On occasion, we use other carriers due to the size of the order and its delivery location. Faster delivery options are available and may be selected during the Checkout process.

What are your shipping costs?


Shipping costs vary by size and weight of the order. Actual shipping costs will be calculated during the Checkout process.

Do you ship to a Post Office box?


We do not ship to a Post Office Box.


What is the delivery time?

Most orders are shipped within 48 hours via UPS or another carrier. Ground delivery time may take up to 7 days depending upon your location. Next Day Air and 2nd Day Delivery options are available during the checkout process.

What is your Return Policy?


You must contact The Camping Team within 5 days of receipt of the order and request a Return Authorization number. To get a Return Authorization please e-mail us at Sales@CampingTeam.com or call 760-837-7731. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization number.

Clothing returns - All clothing merchandise returned for exchange/refund must meet the following conditions: Return item in original packaging. Copy of invoice must be enclosed with merchandise. Enclose a brief letter of explanation. Clothing returned for exchange will be charged a $10.00 exchange fee plus shipping. Clothing returned for refund will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

There is a 20% restocking fee on all returns. Minimum restocking fee is $5.00.

All returns must be in their original packaging materials and shipping container. Gigatent items purchased are covered under the Gigatent Warranty information below.

Customer is responsible for shipping both ways. Shipping costs will be refunded for defective products or orders that have been improperly filled. We will refund shipping costs on products that we determine are defective. Products that have been damaged by misuse are not covered by this policy.

Returns must be made within 30 days.

What if I notice an item I purchased previously is now on sale? Can I get credited for the sale price?



Pricing on CampingTeam.com is available only at the time the order is placed. No pricing adjustments will be made on previous orders based on future or past promotions or sale prices.

Does The Camping Team guarantee availability of all products shown on CampingTeam.com?



Camping Team reserves the right to limit quantities (including after you have submitted your order). Special pricing or offers are good only while supplies last.

The Camping Team is an authorized dealer for Gigatent. All Gigatent products sold are fully covered by the Gigatent warranty.

GIGATENT WARRANTY INFORMATION

Warranty Term: 3 years from the date of purchase

What is covered: Gigatent warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship. What Is Not Covered: Shall not be responsible for the natural breakdown of materials that occurs inevitably with extended use (e.g., Ultraviolet (UV) light damage on tents, exhausted zippers), or defects caused by accident, abuse, alteration, animal attack, storm damage, misuse or improper care.

What Gigatent Will Do: If after inspection gigatent finds that a product failed due to a manufacturing or material defect, they will repair or replace the product, at their option, without charge.

How to Obtain Warranty Service: Return the product, freight prepaid, to the GIGA TENT Customer service department. For return authorization e-mail the Gigatent office and obtain an Authorization number. Authorization numbers are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance, and must be obtained within 30 days of ship date. Returns will be handled in timely matter. Collect shipments or shipments without return authorization will not be accepted.

Repairs:

If your Gigatent product needs service or repair due to normal wear and tear, animal attack, accident or some other reason that is not covered under the warranty Gigatent will provide the necessary service for a reasonable charge, plus shipping and handling. Gigatent requires that products accepted for any repair most be properly cleaned according to their recommended care instructions. Please send your product or component that requires repair (e.g. tent fly), postage prepaid, along with a description of what needs attention.

REPLACEMENT PARTS: Replacement parts may be ordered with consumer service at 1-877-TENTS 01 (873-8601)

Return Policy

Buyers wishing to return merchandise to us must first e-mail our office and obtain an Authorization number. Authorization numbers are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance, and must be obtained within 30 days of ship date. Returns will be handled in a timely matter

How will I know when my order has been shipped?


You will receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been received and is being processed. You will also receive an e-mail at the time your order is shipped. The order confirmation e-mail will have your order number and the shipping e-mail will have a tracking number.

Can I cancel an order?

Orders may be canceled anytime prior to shipping. To cancel an order you must call Customer Service at 888-243-5600. Please keep in mind, most orders ship within 24 hours.

Customer is responsible for shipping and restocking fee on canceled orders that have been shipped.

What methods of payment do you accept?


You may pay for your online pirchase by Visa, MasterCard or PayPal.

What name will appear on my credit card statement?


Your credit card will show a charge to LAVAN ONLINE.
